Patel Brothers, an international chain of grocery stores that focus on connecting patrons with the unique flavors of India, is opening a new spot in the Ashburn Farm Village Center at Parkhurst Plaza. It will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Global Foods. The American company was founded by two brothers, Mafat and Tulsi Patel. Based out of Illinois with over 50 locations across 19 states, this marks only the second Patel Bros chain store in Virginia, the first being in Fairfax. This 27,000 sq. ft. location is set to open sometime before Summer 2020.
