As the summer ends, school begins, the air starts to cool, and we prepare for our annual Loudoun Valley II Election of Directors. We will be electing four members to the Board of Directors. Two of the elected directors shall serve three-year terms, and two shall serve two-year terms.
Your candidates are:
- Mark Grimley
- Stephen Hoffman
- Kiran Jala
- Nick Khawaja
- Jeffrey Winer
This year the Board of Directors will also have on the ballot a question related to amending the Declaration of Protective Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Reserved Easements to implement a homeowner resale capital contribution assessment. Most of the owners now in the community paid an initial capital contribution at settlement. This did not apply to resale owners, therefore, the Board of Directors in consultation with association counsel and management, recommend implementing this in an effort to provide an additional revenue source to the community.
Before the election closes, meet the candidates at 1:00 PM EST – 2:00 PM EST on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Main Clubhouse (43100 Barnstead Drive, Ashburn, VA 20148).
